Responsibilities:
Edit police bodycam footage into engaging, well-paced YouTube videos.
Write and structure video scripts or narratives that help each video flow naturally.
Enhance raw footage with transitions, subtitles, graphics, sound effects, and other creative elements where appropriate.
Ensure all videos follow our brand style, tone, and content guidelines.
Collaborate with the team on ideas to improve storytelling, pacing, and viewer engagement.
Deliver edited videos consistently and on time.
Must be able to speak, understand, and hear English very well, because you will be working with videos that are entirely in English.
Requirements:
Proven video editing experience and proficiency with software such as Adobe Premiere Pro.
Strong storytelling skills, including the ability to structure narratives, write scripts, and make content engaging.
Excellent written and spoken English for script writing, subtitles, and communication.
Strong attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to work independently.
Good time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
Ability to handle a steady workflow and deliver content on schedule.
Nice to Have:
Familiarity with YouTube content creation, viewer retention, and current platform trends.
Knowledge of fair use, copyright, and content guidelines, especially related to law enforcement or bodycam footage.
Experience adding voiceovers or working with voice talent.
Experience editing crime, documentary, police, or bodycam-style content.
