JOB OVERVIEW

Role Overview:
As a Video Editor at [redacted], you will play a critical role in creating high-quality, engaging, and platform-optimized video content to drive brand awareness, thought leadership, and lead generation. You will be responsible for editing videos across a variety of formats, including social media clips, sales enablement videos, podcasts, executive thought leadership content, and more. This role requires a proactive, high-ownership individual who can manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and consistently deliver visually compelling and impactful content.
Key Responsibilities:
Edit and produce high-quality videos for various platforms, including social media (TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube), sales materials, and long-form content.
Cut, refine, and enhance video content to align with brand identity, messaging, and audience engagement goals.
Add motion graphics, captions, animations, and other enhancements to optimize videos for engagement.
Work closely with the marketing, sales, and executive teams to develop compelling video narratives that support company objectives.
Repurpose longer-form content (such as webinars, podcasts, and interviews) into short, high-impact video clips for distribution across multiple channels.
Ensure all videos are optimized for each platform’s best practices, aspect ratios, and audience behavior.
Manage media assets, organize project files, and maintain an efficient editing workflow.
Stay up to date with video trends, industry best practices, and new editing techniques to continuously improve video output.
Requirements:
3+ years of video editing experience, preferably in B2B, SaaS, or digital marketing industries.
Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in video editing, storytelling, and motion graphics.
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other relevant editing software.
Experience editing across different formats: short-form social videos, long-form interviews, promotional content, and sales videos.
Strong understanding of pacing, transitions, audio mixing, color correction, and video effects.
Ability to take raw footage and transform it into engaging, high-quality content.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and creative problem-solving skills.
Experience collaborating with marketing teams, content strategists, and other stakeholders to align video content with broader brand initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with podcast video production and editing.
Knowledge of best practices for video distribution on platforms like YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok.
Ability to create basic motion graphics and animated elements.
Familiarity with AI-powered editing tools and video automation software.
