We are seeking a Video Editor to join our visionary team. If you’re passionate about video editing for course creation and social media postings, then this is your opportunity to make a massive impact. While we have a core team with solid offerings and a slowly growing client base, the biggest gap we need to be filled immediately is video editing for marketing purposes to help us scale FAST!

Job Description:
The video editor needs to be able to cut the video into clips and/or shorts for a variety of platforms, such as YT, LI, FB, IG, and even X.
We are also looking for an experienced Video Editor with a strong mastery of the Descript AI tool, specifically in the context of coaching businesses. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with video and podcast editing using Descript. This candidate would need to be able to take what we've developed and can run the necessary skills to polish the final output.

We are looking for someone stable and steady for the long term. This is a part-time job with at least 4 hours per day, 5 days a week guaranteed.

Key Responsibilities:
* Assemble and edit raw video and podcast audio footage, incorporating dialogue, transitions, sound effects, and graphics, as required, to create a polished final product.
* Utilize Descript software for editing, including transcription, audio editing (podcasts), and video editing to streamline production
* Ensure all edits adhere to the script, outline, or specific coaching objectives set by the coach
* Add necessary visual and audio effects to enhance visual quality and overall viewer engagement
* Work closely with the coach to understand the desired tone, style, and purpose of each video
* Organize and manage video files, ensuring proper naming conventions and backup procedures are followed
* Format and optimize videos for distribution across various social media platforms, either for mobile or computers
* Ensure timely delivery of high-quality video edits according to project timelines


Qualifications:
* Strong knowledge and experience using Descript, particularly its transcription and editing features
* Minimum of 3 years in video editing or post-production work
* Has a keen eye for details to ensure all elements align perfectly, especially when editing dialogue and visuals
* Ability to troubleshoot and make creative decisions to enhance the video’s storytelling quality

Preferred Qualifications:
*Experience in the coaching space, specifically men that fit our buyer profile.
