JOB OVERVIEW

Please read before applying: Only apply if you have real experience editing Video Sales Letters (VSLs) and direct-response ads for e-commerce, Shopify, or ---------- brands on Facebook and Instagram. If you only edit vlogs or corporate videos, this role isn't for you.
We're a fast-growing e-commerce brand looking for a skilled, data-driven video editor. You should understand what makes people watch, buy, and act — fast pacing, pattern interrupts, and grabbing attention in the first 3 seconds.
What you'll do:

Edit high-converting VSL ads (short and long) for Facebook and Instagram (feed, stories, reels).
Find and use good b-roll, add dynamic captions, sound effects, and music that drives emotion.
Create several versions of ad hooks (the first 3–5 seconds) to test different angles.
Apply direct-response techniques: smart pacing, text callouts, and highlighting customer pain points and product benefits.

What we need from you:

A portfolio with real e-commerce/dropshipping VSL ads that have run on Facebook or Instagram.
Strong skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut Desktop.
A solid grasp of direct-response marketing (you know terms like "hook," "hold rate," and "CTA").
Ability to work on your own, meet tight deadlines, and apply feedback quickly.
A fast, reliable internet connection and a computer that can handle video editing.
