Experienced Viral Shorts Video Editor

We are seeking experienced, creative Social Media Video Editors to join our Men of Action team to create viral reels from our long form content. You can make up to $3k USD each month with this role!

We are a rapidly growing company, and our video production needs to scale with us. Our mission is to create more fulfilled men for the betterment of humanity, and we do so by teaching men how to build high-status social networks. The footage you will work with centers around red carpet-events, charity galas, bikini competitions, and celebrity private events.

The content is fun and enjoyable to watch and lets you gain the insider's secrets to the lifestyle of the elites. This is why we will only accept the best talent for the job. Such great footage needs a fantastic editor.

The pay will be a monthly base PLUS performance bonus. As mentioned above, you can make up to $3k/mo with this role for the right talent.

You will be tasked with creating daily viral content for our channels. You will be working on a team of editors brainstorming on creating great content. The position is fully remote with a semi-flexible schedule.

In your proposal, you should have many examples of social media content creation that performed well and/or went viral on multiple channels. Applicants who do not submit a demo reel/portfolio of their best videos will not be considered.

All applicants must complete a very short skills test before being considered for an interview.

Skills:
Superb video editing skills
Highly responsive communication
Willingness to get the job done quickly on short notice
Exceptional project management skills
The ability to accept feedback and make quick iterations
Ability to handle large amounts of footage (in both file size and breadth)
The ability to sort through many raw takes and find the best clips
English proficiency

Responsibilities:
Edit existing content that resonates with the influencer's audience and drives engagement across social media platforms.

Comply with and utilize our systems for clip coordination, pulling content, uploading, and revisions.

Participate in short weekly growth meetings (via Zoom) with your team leader and account managers.

Complete a short daily report in Google Sheets with 3 measured metrics from the previous day.

Requirements:
Proven experience as a social media video editor, preferably working with social media influencers
Knowledge of social media platforms, trends, editing styles & best practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Ability to work on weekends/after hours if and when needed.
