*Job Description*
As a Pixel Artist at Mega Cat, you’ll be at the heart of our creative process, crafting stunning pixel art that brings our game worlds to life. From characters to environments and UI elements, your artistry will shape the visual identity of our games. Working closely with our talented team of designers, animators, and artists, you’ll collaborate to ensure our games are not only visually striking but also immersive and engaging. Your passion for pixel art and attention to detail will be instrumental in creating the magic that captivates our players.

*Key Responsibilities*
• Create Immersive Pixel Art: Design and produce detailed pixel art assets that resonate with our game’s artistic vision and narrative.
• Collaborate with a Creative Team: Work closely with game designers, animators, and artists to maintain a cohesive visual style and elevate the overall gaming experience.
• Bring Characters to Life: Develop captivating frame-by-frame animations for characters, enemies, and environmental elements that enhance gameplay dynamics.
• Optimize Artistry for Performance: Ensure pixel art assets are optimized for performance across various platforms, balancing visual fidelity with technical requirements.
• Maintain Visual Consistency: Uphold consistent art style and quality standards throughout all assets and animations, adhering to established guidelines.
• Iterate and Elevate: Actively participate in feedback loops, refining and improving art assets based on input from teaUpgrade to see actual infombers, playtesters, and artistic leads.
• Organize and Document: Maintain organized asset files and documentation, facilitating seamless collaboration and asset management.

*Key Skills Needed*
• Proficiency in pixel art creation tools such as Aseprite, Photoshop, or similar software.
• Deep understanding of pixel art techniques, including color theory, shading, and animation principles.
• Experience in creating expressive and dynamic animations that breathe life into characters and environments.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, visually appealing art assets.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
• Familiarity with game development pipelines and processes.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve artistic challenges.

*Qualifications*
• Proven experience as a Pixel Artist, with a robust portfolio showcasing your creativity and technical skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Art, Graphic Design, Game Design, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated experience working on successful game projects or personal game development endeavors (portfolio links are highly encouraged).
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.
