This role supports the growth and visibility of Embracing Social Supports through establishing and nurturing business relationships and partnerships with within the disabilities and healthcare secter. The business development manager will idenitfy opportunities for collaboration, develop proposals, manage outreach efforts, and ensure the alignment of partnerships with the organisation's goals. The role includes creating strategies to increase client aquisition, expand service offerings, and enhance community presence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1: Relationship Building - Cultivate strong connections with community centres, hospitals, schools and disability - focused organisations
2: Client Aquisition - Identify potential clients or partners, conduct outreach, and present the services of Embracing Social Supports in a compelling way.
3: Proposal Development - Prepare tailored proposals or presentations to secure collaborations and new clients.
4: Outreach Strategy - Design and implemen outreach campaigns, such as information sessions, community events, or digital marketing initiatives, to raise awareness
5: Collaboration - Work closely with internal teams (e.g., Administration, Samantha) to ensure services meet the needs of new clients

1: Communication - Exceptional verbal and written skills to effectively present ideas and proposals
2: Networking - Ability to connect and build trust with a variety of key stakeholders in the healthcare and disability space
3: Strategic Thinking - Strong ability to idenitfy growth opportunities and align them with the organisation's goals
4: Project Management - Capability to manage multiple initiatives, from idea inception to implementation
5: Analytical Skills - Analysing market trends and keeping up to date with the latest changes to the NDIS funding and framework
6: Negotiation - skilled at negotiating terms that align with the organisation's interests while fostering positive relationships
DELIVERABLES:
1: Secure a specific number of new clients or partnerships per quarter
2: Increase awareness of ESS through workign with Samantha to build and deliver information nights and networking events
3: Develop at least 3 new partnerships opportunities within 6 months
4: Contribute to achieving revenue targets by bringing in high-value collaborations
KPIs -
Staff Recruitment:
1: Collaborate with Samantha to source twelve qualified candidates by the end of February to ensure at least three hires by March, each working 20 hours per week
2: Collaborate with Samantha to onboard three new support workers with full compliance by their start dates, ensuring readiness for client assignments
3: Coordinate with Samantha, the staffing availability to align with securing one large cleint requiring a team of support workers
Client Aquisition:
1:Secure one large client requiring high-hour bookings or a dedicated team of support workers by March
2: Generate three small client leads for onboarding by April, each booking three to five hours weekly
3: Identify and contact ten prospective medium or large clients monthly, focusing on organisations needing long-term partnerships
Collaboration and Partnership:
1: Establish collaborations with five local community organisations or disability focused groups by March to create referral pipelines
2: Develop two partnerships proposals per month, targeting large-scale opportunities for ongoing contracts
3: Build relationships with three key industry stakeholders per month (e.g., disability service networks, communiity centres) to position ESS as a preferred provider
Awareness and Outreach KPIs:
1: Create two new targeted campaigns promoting services to local disability-focused organisations and community groups by February
2: Develop one outreach
3: Attend virtual industry networking events or forums at least twice per month
Tracking and Reporting KPIs:
1: Maintain a pipeline of twenty prospective collaborations or partnerships, tracking their stage of engagement and potential
2: Submit weekly progress reports detailing outreach efforts, cleint leads, and collaboration development
3: Track and report referral conversations, aiming for at least five leads per month from partnerships
