TypeScript Developer / Technical Writer

We are seeking a TypeScript Engineer with strong technical writing skills to join our Upgrade to see actual info this role, you will be responsible for back-end TypeScript development in addition to writing clear technical documentation that describes various parts of our current and future system.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain a micro-service-based TypeScript app
- Write clear and concise technical documentation
- Refactor and comment source code to improve readability
- Debug and fix bugs in a high-scale production system
- Maintain unit tests for new and existing features
- Work closely with product and engineering teams to understand project requirements
- Continuously improve documentation quality and accuracy based on feedback

Qualifications:

- Highly proficient in TypeScript and JavaScript
- Adept in OOP design principles, and in making decoupled, maintainable, durable systems
- Microservice experience
- Excellent technical writing and communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Working schedule must overlap with Pacific Time working hours by 4 hours
