Truss & Frame Detailer / Estimator — Pryda Software

About the role

Our company is a growing prefabricated timber truss and wall frame manufacturer based in QLD, Australia. We're looking for a skilled remote detailer/estimator who can hit the ground running with Pryda software to support our design and quoting workflow.

What you'll do

Detail and design roof trusses, floor trusses, and wall frames using Pryda software
Produce accurate material take-offs and job estimates from architectural plans
Interpret and work from Australian standard residential and commercial drawings
Coordinate with our production team to ensure designs are manufacture-ready
Check and QA designs before submission to clients and builders
Assist with quoting turnaround to meet builder deadlines

Must-haves

Hands-on Pryda software experience — this is non-negotiable
Proven background in timber truss and wall frame detailing
Ability to read and interpret Australian architectural and engineering plans
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in take-offs
Reliable internet connection and ability to work Australian business hours (AEST/AEDT)
Good written English for communicating with our local team

Nice to have

Familiarity with NCC/Australian Building Codes
Previous work with Australian truss manufacturers or fabricators
