Property Manager & Transaction Coordinator

Position Overview
This dual-role position serves as both an Assistant Property Manager for our rental portfolio and a Transaction Coordinator supporting real estate acquisitions and dispositions. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support to enhance operational efficiency across both property management and transaction processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Property Management

Assist with day-to-day operations of rental properties, including tenant communication and maintenance coordination
Process rental applications, screen potential tenants, and prepare lease documents
Manage tenant move-in/move-out procedures and conduct property inspections
Handle rent collection and maintain accurate financial records
Coordinate maintenance requests and vendor relationships
Assist with property marketing and showing vacant units

Transaction Coordination

Facilitate real estate acquisition and disposition processes from contract to closing
Coordinate due diligence activities including inspections, appraisals, and surveys
Maintain transaction calendars and ensure all parties meet critical deadlines
Prepare and organize documentation for closings
Liaise between buyers, sellers, agents, lenders, title companies, and attorneys
Create and maintain comprehensive property files and transaction records

Qualifications:

Real estate license preferred (or willingness to obtain)
1-3 years of experience in property management, transaction coordination, or related field
Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
Proficiency in property management and real estate transaction software
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Customer service orientation with problem-solving aptitude
Knowledge of landlord-tenant laws and real estate contracts
