Top 1% Real Estate Video Editor

COMPENSATION STRUCTURE
Pay per project: $50-120 CAD per video.

We currently have a team of 5 editors. Most of our current editors are doing anywhere from 40-50 edits per month during the busy season.

IMPORTANT SEASONALITY NOTE: Real estate is highly seasonal. Please be aware that our volume typically drops to near zero during December and January. During these two months, there may be weeks with no videos to edit and no QA hours required. This role is best suited for someone who is comfortable capitalizing on the high volume during the spring, summer, and fall, and budgeting for the winter slowdown.

The Role:
We are a high-volume Canadian Real Estate Media Agency looking for a Lead Video Editor & QA Supervisor. We already have a capable team of young, talented editors and are looking to expand that team.

The role is editing about 90% real estate video tours, the other 10% comes from internal projects or other short-form content we shoot for our clients.


Requirements:


Experience: 2+ years of high-level video editing (Final Cut Pro) specifically for real estate. Sound design, motion graphics and story telling are also important skills in order to be able to succeed in this role.

Trend Awareness: Deep understanding of current North American social media trends, pacing, and retention-style captioning.

Tech-Savvy: Experience working with shared cloud environments and standardizing folder structures.
