Technical SEO Specialist (Contract / Remote – Approx. 6 Hours per Week)

About the Role
We are a growing Australian healthcare company committed to delivering simple, accessible health solutions via telehealth. We're looking for a Technical SEO Specialist to join us on a contract basis and support ongoing website optimisation by ensuring best SEO practices are consistently applied.

This is an ideal role for a self-motivated SEO professional who works well independently and has hands-on experience identifying and resolving technical SEO issues—particularly using SEMrush.

What You’ll Do
- Conduct regular technical SEO audits using SEMrush
- Identify and prioritise issues affecting site health, crawlability, indexing, and performance
- Make or recommend technical updates (e.g., fixing broken links, redirects, site speed, structured data)
- Collaborate with the web and marketing team to maintain strong SEO hygiene
- Provide monthly insights and recommendations for continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in technical SEO, ideally within healthcare, e-commerce, or service-based industries
- Strong proficiency in SEMrush, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools
- Solid understanding of on-page SEO, site architecture, and technical best practices
- Ability to work autonomously and communicate effectively with a non-technical team
- Bonus: Familiarity with WordPress
