JOB OVERVIEW

PLEASE NOTE: WE ARE MOVING QUICKLY AND AIM TO HIRE IN THE NEXT TWO WEEKS.

About the Role

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager with strong experience leading software and cloud-based projects. You will help manage existing AI, web, and AWS/serverless initiatives while coordinating with internal teams, developers, and external stakeholders to keep projects moving on time and with clear accountability.

You should be comfortable translating business needs into concrete plans, organizing delivery across multiple workstreams, and identifying risks before they become real problems. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, technically curious, and strong in client communication.

Key Responsibilities

- Own day-to-day project delivery across software, AI, and cloud-based initiatives.
- Build and maintain project plans, timelines, priorities, and status updates.
- Run standups, planning sessions, retrospectives, and stakeholder check-ins.
- Coordinate internal developers, designers, QA, and outside vendors.
- Track risks, blockers, dependencies, and scope changes, and escalate issues early.
- Turn business discussions into actionable tickets, requirements, and next steps.
- Ensure work is delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business priorities.
- Support release planning, UAT coordination, and production rollout readiness.
- Maintain strong project documentation across tools such as Jira, ClickUp, Notion, or similar systems.

Core Requirements

- 3+ years of experience managing software, technical, or digital projects.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
- Ability to manage multiple moving parts without losing control of details.
- Strong understanding of Agile delivery, sprint planning, and project tracking.
- Comfort working with engineers and discussing technical issues at a practical level.

Preferred Skills

- Experience managing web application or SaaS projects.
- Exposure to AWS, APIs, serverless systems, or AI-related projects.
- Experience with Jira, ClickUp, Asana, Trello, or similar PM tools.
- Ability to write clear requirements, meeting notes, and follow-up summaries.
- Experience working directly with US-based clients or stakeholders.

Compensation & Perks

- Monthly Rate: $1,400 - $1,900 USD (paid via Wise).
- Performance Bonus: Discretionary year-end performance bonus based on results and delivery.
- Direct US Client: No agency middleman taking a large cut of your fees.
- Mentorship: Work directly with senior technical leadership and gain real exposure to software, AI, and cloud delivery.
- Engagement Type: Independent contractor engagement. You are responsible for your own tax filings and social contributions.
