Contract: Part-time Remote Contractor (80 hours monthly)
Business Hours: 9 AM - 6 PM EST (Must provide 4 hours of services during this time)

What You'll Do

The company is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to strengthen its recruitment efforts, particularly in sourcing and hiring candidates with specialized Engineering skills. They are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join their remote workforce. In this role, you will be pivotal in strategically identifying role AORs, screening top talent globally, streamlining hiring procedures, and supporting various HR functions. As a key member of the team, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate closely with the Leadership Team, provide exceptional candidate experiences, and contribute to the overall success of the organization. The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Role Identification: Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements, including technical skills, experience levels, and cultural fit criteria, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Strategically Sourcing Candidates: Utilize a variety of strategic sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and referrals, to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates.
Screening Resumes: Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates based on job requirements.
Conducting Software Engineer Interviews: Schedule and conduct preliminary or technical interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, experience, and fit for the role.
Assessment Coordination: Coordinate technical assessments and skills tests as needed to validate candidates' capabilities.
Maintaining Applicant Tracking System (ATS): Update and manage the ATS with candidate information, interview notes, and hiring status.
Drafting Job Descriptions: Draft compelling job descriptions for the Web and Software Engineer roles, incorporating the full AOR and any relevant KPIs.
Final Review of Candidate Portfolios: Offer assistance in the final review of candidate information packets containing their profile summary, portfolio, and highlights of relevant skills.
Talent Pipeline Development: Build talent pipelines to fill current and future roles with the goal of enhancing time-to-hire metrics.
Collaborating with Account Managers: Work closely with Account Managers to understand their client's staffing needs, provide regular updates on recruitment progress, and adjust strategies as needed.

What You Should Have

At least four (4) years of experience in technical recruiting or talent acquisition or a related field, preferably with experience in a virtual assistant or remote work capacity.
Demonstrated experience working remotely with clients or companies based in the US, EU, or CA, with a strong understanding of remote communication tools and workflows.
Proficiency in sourcing candidates, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and managing recruitment processes effectively.
In-depth knowledge of technical roles, skills, and technologies relevant to the IT industry (e.g., software engineering, cybersecurity, data science, etc.).
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines remotely.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with candidates, hiring managers, and teaUpgrade to see actual infombers across different time zones.
Keen attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when managing candidate information, documentation, and recruitment data.
Comfortable using various online platforms, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and remote collaboration tools to support recruitment activities.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive candidate and employee information with discretion and professionalism.
Strong collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a remote team and support cross-functional initiatives.
Familiarity with relevant employment laws, regulations, and best practices in recruitment, particularly in the US, UK, or CA regions.
