System and Network Administrator and Cybersecurity Expert

Our IT services company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced System and Network Administrator and Cybersecurity Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining our organization's Active Directory server systems, networks, and cybersecurity measures as a Level 2/3 escalation partner. Ideal candidate would be available on an ad-hoc basis between the hours of 8A-5P EST (America/Ohio).

## Responsibilities

- Manage and monitor network and system performance, security, and availability
- Assist US-based techs with installs, configurations, and maintenance for hardware and software systems (Level 2 and 3)
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues (Level 2 and 3)
- Develop and implement cybersecurity measures to protect our network and systems
- Ensure compliance with security policies and regulations
- Assist in disaster recovery planning and execution

## Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in system and network administration and cybersecurity
- Experience with firewall and intrusion detection/prevention systems, antivirus software, CyberCNS, and other cybersecurity tools
- Strong knowledge of operating systems, network protocols, and virtualization technologies
- Experience with cloud computing services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
