JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Tier 3 – Systems Administrator in the IT Services and Managed Services industry. This role serves as the highest level of escalation within the technical support team, handling complex networking, system, and end-user issues that cannot be resolved by Tier 1 and Tier 2 support.

The ideal candidate has advanced troubleshooting expertise, deep knowledge of enterprise infrastructure, and strong experience with Microsoft environments, virtualization, networking hardware, and cloud platforms. This individual must be highly resourceful, proactive, and capable of managing high-level technical escalations in a fully remote environment.

Job Responsibilities
-Resolve complex technical issues submitted via phone, email, and remote sessions
-Serve as the primary escalation point for Tier 1 and Tier 2 support technicians
-Perform advanced troubleshooting of server and network infrastructure including routing and switching (Cisco, Fortinet, Meraki, Dell, Palo Alto, Ubiquiti, SonicWall)
-Manage and troubleshoot Microsoft environments including Windows Server, Azure, desktop OS, and cloud computing platforms
-Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Active Directory environments
-Design, implement, and support virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, Xen)
-Manage enterprise storage technologies (iSCSI, RAID, SAN, NAS)
-Administer and migrate Office 365 and Azure environments
-Support Citrix environments including XenApp, XenDesktop, and Netscaler
-Manage SaaS products and customer licensing
-Maintain and update technical documentation and procedures
-Perform device firmware updates and OS patching/upgrades
-Handle assigned projects and ensure on-time completion
-Support a 24/7/365 uptime commitment and follow established security processes

Qualifications
-5–10 years of hands-on technical experience troubleshooting complex networking, systems, and end-user issues
-Advanced expertise in enterprise networking, cloud infrastructure, and Microsoft environments
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-Highly resourceful, self-driven, and able to take initiative in a dynamic environment
-Certifications (Required or to be obtained within designated timeframe after onboarding):
-ITIL Foundation
-CompTIA A+
-CompTIA Network+
-CompTIA Security+
-CCNA
-MCSE
