Supply Chain Manager (E-commerce Order Monitoring)
About the Role
We run a basic fashion dropshipping store and are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Supply Chain Manager to oversee our daily e-commerce order flow. This is a small, non-demanding position — ideal for someone who already understands supply chain processes in online retail and wants a consistent side role.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor all incoming orders daily for potential fraud or high-risk alerts and promptly message customers to verify information when needed.
Check our Parcel Panel dashboard daily to identify orders that are taking longer than expected to ship; follow up with the supplier until the issue is resolved.
Monitor all unfulfilled orders; if any remain unfulfilled for more than 7 days, immediately communicate with our Customer Service team so a full refund can be issued.
If the supplier tells us a product, variant, or size is out of stock, communicate that with our product lister and with me immediately so we can take appropriate action.
Maintain accurate records of all communications and escalations.
Provide a brief daily update on the status of orders and any outstanding issues.
Requirements
Supply chain management experience (preferably in e-commerce).
Experience with Shopify (must be able to navigate orders, apps and fulfilment dashboards).
Clear written English communication skills.
High attention to detail and ability to follow processes consistently.
Reliable internet connection and availability to check orders at least once per day (7 days a week).
Proactive, responsive and able to work independently.
