Structural Engineer

Structural Engineer (Part-Time, Remote –U.S. Experience Required)

We are a U.S.-based architectural and design firm seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join our team on a part-time basis. This is a long-term remote position working on residential and light commercial projects in New York.

Requirements (Please read carefully before applying):

Minimum 4 years of structural engineering experience
MUST have prior experience working with a U.S.-based company (U.S. codes, standards, and practices)
Strong understanding of U.S. building codes and construction methods
Proficiency in structural design and analysis (wood, steel, concrete)
Ability to communicate clearly in English and work during New York business hours

Important:
If you do NOT meet BOTH of the following:

At least 5 years of experience of prior work experience with a U.S.-based company

Responsibilities:

Prepare structural drawings and calculations
Coordinate with architectural plans
Provide practical, buildable solutions for field conditions
Assist with revisions and plan updates
