Job Description:

We’re seeking an experienced, professional Sports Writer to produce top-tier content focused on Golf, NASCAR, WWE, NBA, MLB, and NFL, with a special emphasis on NASCAR, WWE, and Golf—our top-performing categories. You’ll create 20-30 articles per week that emulate the style, depth, and appeal of leading sports sites like Bleacher Report, EssentiallySports, and ClutchPoints. This is a fully remote role based in the Philippines, working US hours (11 AM - 6 PM PST).

Key Responsibilities:

Write 20-30 high-quality articles per week (game recaps, opinion pieces, player profiles, breaking news, etc.) tailored to our target audience.
Deliver polished, error-free content ready for publication without external proofreading.
Stay current on trends, news, and developments in Golf, NASCAR, WWE, NBA, MLB, and NFL.
Craft engaging, fan-focused content that drives readership and mirrors the tone of top sports media outlets.
Meet deadlines consistently while working independently in a remote environment.
Requirements:

Proven professional writing experience in sports journalism (portfolio required).
Deep knowledge of Golf, NASCAR, WWE, NBA, MLB, and NFL, with a passion for NASCAR, WWE, and Golf.
Ability to produce clean, professional copy without needing external editing.
Strong understanding of the tone and style of Bleacher Report, EssentiallySports, and ClutchPoints.
Excellent time management and ability to deliver 20-30 articles per week.
Based in the Philippines with reliable internet and availability to work 11 AM - 6 PM PST.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a remote role.
Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with sports fan culture and what drives engagement.
Experience working in a fast-paced digital media environment.
