We are seeking a skilled Sports Video Editor to create high-quality cinematic baseball content that showcases our teams, players, and game experiences.
Position Overview
This freelance remote role focuses on editing long-form baseball highlight videos featuring scoring graphics, motion graphics, and cinematic storytelling inspired by professional sports content.

Most final deliverables will average approximately 15 minutes in runtime depending on the game and project scope.

Editors will be expected to provide an initial rough cut within 24 hours of receiving raw footage, with final edited videos delivered within 48 hours.

This position is estimated at approximately 10–20 hours per week during the season.
Responsibilities
• Edit baseball game footage into polished long-form highlight videos
• Create MLB-style cinematic edits and hype content
• Add scoring graphics, motion graphics, and visual effects
• Perform color correction and audio balancing
• Create captions/subtitles when needed
• Design thumbnails for video distribution platforms
• Maintain a 48-hour turnaround time on final deliverables, including rough cut submissions within 24 hours of footage delivery
• Collaborate with the South Bay Blasters team on creative direction and branding
Software Requirements
• Adobe Premiere Pro
• Final Cut Pro
• Adobe After Effects
• Adobe Photoshop
Ideal Candidate
• Professional-level video editing experience
• Strong understanding of baseball and sports storytelling
• Experience editing sports-related content
• Strong eye for pacing, music syncing, graphics, and cinematic visuals
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines

• Able to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote environment
