Software Engineer – AI-Enhanced Web/Mobile/Firmware Dev (Full-Time, Remote)

We’re a small California-based company building innovative apps with the help of awesome human programmers who use their own skills plus AI coding tools.

As part of our team, you’ll develop and ship amazing web apps, mobile apps, and ESP32 firmware based on detailed product requirement docs.

Responsibilities:
- Build web apps with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL
- Create mobile apps in Flutter (iOS & Android) and prepare for deployment to app stores
- Develop firmware for ESP32 and similar MCUs
- Design secure MySQL databases
- Implement login, payments, subscriptions
- Heavily use AI coding assistants (Claude Code or similar, paid by us) to enhance your own excellent programming skills
- Communicate with our team via Slack & Jira (no phone/video meetings)
- Document and test your work for reliability and clarity

Requirements:
- Skilled in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL
- Experience with Flutter (Dart) and mobile app deployment
- Familiarity with microcontroller firmware (ESP32 preferred)
- Comfortable using AI tools like Claude Code to accelerate development
- Use AI tools intelligently for speed and quality
- Fluent written English and clear asynchronous communicator
- Your own computer + reliable internet
- Finalists will be asked to complete a short skills test to demonstrate their abilities

Compensation:
- $2/hour for 40 hours/week
- Paid weekly for full-time work, even during periods with little or no active assignment
- Flexible work hours, just keep us posted daily on project progress
