Software Engineer

We are looking for a broad skilled software developer to maintain, improve and create internal test software used internally to the company to automate test and type test of our products.

This is a variety of desktop based Windows software written in a dotNET environment.

Overview
Improve stability and performance of in house test software
Add new features to existing test software as we create new customer features, so that our inhouse test environment can be used to constantly check product conformance.

Skills
Proficient Upgrade to see actual info programming , Visual Basic, C#
Working knowledge of SQL queries to also save the test results to SQL.
Real life experience of , and able to work with, existing coding and debug or amend, or create new applications from scratch
The majority of software communicates with our equipment (RS232 / USB / Ethernet) and other test equipment, so experience of control of measurement instrumentation, and manipulation of results data is highly preferred.
