Software Developer Intern

Mvolo is a fast-growing Dutch e-commerce brand specializing in premium light therapy products. We sell across multiple European marketplaces and are building the internal systems and data infrastructure to scale intelligently. Our team is remote-first, quality-obsessed, and moves fast.

The Role
We are looking for a Software Developer Intern who wants to learn by doing real work that matters. You will support the development of our centralized business dashboard by helping build data pipelines, connecting APIs from various platforms, and researching how different systems can feed into a single source of truth. This is not a coffee-fetching internship. You will write real code, solve real problems, and work directly alongside our developer and founder. What You Will Do
Assist in building and maintaining data pipelines that pull information from e-commerce platforms, advertising channels, and logistics systems
Research third-party APIs and platform documentation to find the best ways to extract and centralize data
Write clean, well-documented code in Python and/or JavaScript under the guidance of a senior developer
Help troubleshoot integration issues and monitor data accuracy across connected systems
Test and validate data flows to ensure the dashboard displays reliable, up-to-date information
Document technical processes and contribute to building a knowledge base for the engineering workflow

What We Are Looking For
Required
Currently studying or recently graduated in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Basic working knowledge of Python or JavaScript with a willingness to learn fast
Understanding of how APIs work and enthusiasm for figuring out how systems connect
Strong research skills and the ability to independently dig into documentation and find answers
Excellent written English and a proactive communication style

Nice to Have
Personal projects or school projects involving data pipelines, web scraping, or API integrations
Familiarity with databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or cloud-based tools like Supabase
Exposure to e-commerce platforms like Shopify, Amazon, or ----------
A GitHub profile or portfolio showing code you have written
