JOB OVERVIEW

We’re looking for an experienced Tiktok Strategist to lead strategy, production, and editing for high-impact Tiktok accounts, driving growth and creating top-tier content.

This role is responsible for supporting strategy and creating for The Flavor Gang’s and Ross Flanigan’s Tiktok accounts end to end (from pre-production to editing, publication and analysis). This role reports to the COO.

Balancing strategy and creativity are what you do best. You understand the best practices of social trends, hooks, pacing, structure, music, and graphic needs to produce top tier Tiktok content week after week. You enjoy documenting best practices and creating systems out of them so that you and your team can more efficiently complete work and repeat winning actions. You’ve led strategy and created content at a high level and high pace and are able to demonstrate the trackable growth you drove for brands.

Responsibilities
Post 2-3 pieces of content (reels and graphics) daily for Tiktok account (may scale up with platform and strategy needs)
Track, analyze, and leverage Tiktok trends to keep content relevant and ahead of the curve.
Develop and execute platform strategies specifically for Tiktok to drive engagement and growth.
Edit high-quality, short-form video clips tailored for Tiktok audiences.
Create engaging visuals, including graphics, carousels, and image-based content specific to Tiktok.
Monitor platform analytics, reporting regularly on content performance and suggesting optimizations.
Educate team members on Tiktok trends, editing techniques, and tools.
Collaborate with the team in calls, meetings, and training sessions.
Evolve the rotation of our content formats based on internal data, external social trends, and industry best practices
Lead collab posts between The Flavor Gang’s and Ross’ accounts and with other potential collaborators
Document processes so that there is redundancy if you need to take time off or expand to hiring someone to assist with edits
Keep files and SOPs neatly organized in Google Drive so teammates can easily access
Keep your team updated on deadlines and status of projects

Requirements
Extensive knowledge of Tiktok and other short form social content
Proven experience in growing social media accounts, editing and platform strategy.
Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, editing native in-app, and Capcut) and image/graphic editing tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop).
Strong strategic thinking and results-oriented mindset.
Ability to manage multiple projects, ensuring high-quality output and meeting tight deadlines.
Keen attention to detail to produce error-free, high-quality content.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in analyzing platform performance metrics and using data to guide creative decisions.
Willingness to adapt and stay updated on the latest industry changes.

Results
Ensure Tiktok content achieves an average of 10K views per post by the end of Q2 2025.
Produce a diverse range of high-quality content pieces per week, including shorts, 1+ minute videos, graphics, and memes that balance providing value, creating relatability, and leveraging viral social trends.
Report on Tiktok growth metrics with takeaways and adjustments to strategy every week.
Maintain adherence to upload cadence and deadlines for hoc projects.
