About Us:
Helen's Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded by Kayla Mainja, LCSW, committed to revolutionizing mental health care within the BIPOC community. The organization focuses on breaking down barriers to provide affordable and accessible mental health resources to underserved communities.

Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with Helen's Project's mission and objectives.
Manage and grow social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and others.
Create engaging and educational content (posts, stories, videos, graphics) focused on mental health awareness and service promotion.
Collaborate with the internal team to feature programs, client success stories (with consent), and community initiatives.
Maintain a consistent posting schedule and ensure cohesive brand messaging.
Respond to social media comments and messages with professionalism and compassion.
Analyze social media metrics (engagement, reach, conversions) and provide optimization recommendations.
Stay updated on social media trends, platform updates, and mental health advocacy strategies.
Build partnerships with influencers, organizations, and community leaders to enhance engagement.
Manage social media advertising campaigns to promote services and events.
Requirements:
Proven experience in social media marketing, preferably in healthcare, non-profits, or community-based organizations.
Proficiency in content creation, including graphic design (Canva or Adobe Creative Suite) and video editing.
Strong understanding of social media algorithms and audience engagement strategies.
Exceptional writing skills with a compassionate tone for mental health advocacy.
Analytical mindset to interpret social media performance data.
Familiarity with tools such as Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, or Sprout Social.
Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Passion for mental health advocacy and alignment with Helen’s Project’s mission.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience managing paid social media advertising campaigns.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Familiarity with mental health topics and language.
