Position: Social Media Manager & Content Creator

Qualifications & experience

-The content will mostly be travel-related, so an understanding of national parks, Australia, and travel in general would be a plus
-Demonstrated ability to create visually captivating content for social media platforms
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for grammar, punctuation, and storytelling would be useful.
-Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple social media channels simultaneously.
-Can you cut 15 minutes of raws into a 90-second reel in under an hour?

Tasks & responsibilities

-Produce high-quality, original, and engaging National Park and travel content for various digital platforms along with our team. --This includes editing, graphics, and copywriting.
- Plan a monthly editorial calendar for social media posts across platforms
-Be self-motivated and able to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative team environment.
- Create content daily for the brand - to educate and encourage growth and engagement within our community.
-Post across all platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Website) and maintain an organised content library.
-Proficient in creating epic content, including IG reels & photos.
-You think outside of the box, with ideas being produced as it comes to mind.
-Ability to identify new trends before they even hit, adapting to be relevant to all platforms and our business.
-Maintain a unified brand voice across different social media channels
-Experience in scheduling and planning social content in advance

The non-negotiables:
-Medium - strong design skills with Adobe and Canva
-Experience with social media scheduling
-Confident in creating content with intention and purpose
-A positive team player
-Willing to learn and develop your skills
- Complete familiarity with the Google Suite, such as Google Docs, spreadsheets, forms, etc.
- The ideal candidate will have experience with Metricool and Slack
-Strong English communication skills
-Love travel as much as we do

Job requirements:
- 20 hrs of work per week for an Australian company
- Salary will be $5 USD per hour

This role will help with the creation and implementation of social media strategy and monitor day-to-day operations for our travel business and several of our active social platforms. The ideal candidate is a creative, detail-oriented individual passionate about social media and streaming content.

We require that, at a minimum, our Social Media Managers work Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. You will get one day off a week outside these times.
