About the Role
We're looking for a social media manager with deep, top-to-bottom understanding or experience across multiple platforms — Instagram and Twitter are non-negotiable. You need to understand everything from content editing and brand strategy down to account management and performance tracking. This role sits at the centre of our content operations: you'll be building platform-specific strategies, creating content briefs for clients, managing a team of VAs executing the work, and critically, understanding whether what you're doing is actually getting results. If you can't connect social media activity to measurable outcomes, this isn't the right fit.

Key Responsibilities

Build and own content strategies tailored to each client across Instagram, Twitter, and other platforms, understanding that what works on one doesn't work on another.
Edit content for social media or direct the editing process — you know what performs and how content should look before it goes out.
Create detailed content briefs to send to clients so they know exactly what to produce and how.
Manage a team of social media VAs, ensuring they're executing the strategy correctly and consistently.
Create and maintain posting schedules and content calendars, specifying formats, timing, and platform-specific best practices.
Analyse content performance across platforms and pivot strategy based on what's actually working for each specific client, not just general trends.
Understand whether social media activity is translating into results — tracking funnels, links, and conversions so you're never working in a vacuum.
Monitor account health across all managed accounts and understand the technical side of keeping accounts safe and visible.
Identify creative bottlenecks with clients and find alternative content formats that still deliver results.

Requirements

Proven experience in social media management for brands, businesses, or clients, with deep knowledge of Instagram and Twitter at minimum.
Full-range understanding of social media marketing — from content creation and editing through to strategy, scheduling, and performance analysis.
Experience managing or overseeing a team of VAs.
Strong understanding of funnels, tracking links, and how social media activity connects to measurable business results.
Understanding of account health monitoring and managing multiple accounts.
Detail-oriented — you don't just say "post more," you provide the strategy, the content brief, and the reasoning behind it.
