Social Media Manager

Position: Part-Time Social Media Manager
Location: Remote
Hours: Flexible (approximately 15-20 hours per week)
Compensation: $175/mo

Are you passionate about social media and wedding photography? Do you have a knack for creating compelling content and engaging with an audience? We’re looking for a talented Social Media Manager to join our team and help us enhance our online presence. If you’re creative, self-motivated, and have a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Content Planning & Strategy: Develop and implement social media strategies across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, etc.) that align with our brand and attract engaged followers.
• Content Creation: Design eye-catching posts, create graphics, write captions, and incorporate storytelling to highlight our wedding photography work.
• Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on social media trends, hashtags, and best practices, and bring innovative ideas to keep our content fresh and relevant.
• Community Management: Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages promptly, and foster positive relationships with clients and potential clients.
• Basic Video Editing: Create short, engaging video reels/stories that showcase our photography sessions, behind-the-scenes content, and wedding highlights.
• Reporting & Analytics: Track social media metrics and performance, providing insights and recommendations to improve reach and engagement.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in social media management, particularly in a visual field such as wedding or event photography, lifestyle brands, or similar.
• Proficiency in content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator).
• Basic video editing skills using platforms like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or Capcut, or similar.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
• Excellent written communication skills with a flair for creative storytelling.
• Self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
