Social Media Designer & Content Assistant (Part-Time)

We are a growing startup looking for a creative and proactive individual to support our social media presence. If you enjoy creating content, designing visuals, editing videos, and contributing ideas that help brands grow online, we'd love to hear from you.

Role Overview

This is a part-time, remote-friendly position focused on creating engaging content for our social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram, and potentially TikTok. While this is not a full-time role, we work with deadlines and may have daily or recurring tasks.

Responsibilities
Content Creation & Design
Design social media posts, carousels, graphics, and other visual content
Create content that aligns with our brand identity and messaging
Develop visually appealing and engaging content that performs well on social media
Maintain consistency across all platforms and content formats
Content Ideation
Brainstorm and propose content ideas for social media
Research trends, topics, and content formats relevant to our audience
Contribute creative ideas to improve engagement and reach
Stay updated on social media trends and best practices
Video Editing
Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, LinkedIn, and TikTok
Add captions, transitions, graphics, and basic motion elements
Repurpose existing content into multiple formats
Social Media Support
Help manage and organize content calendars
Assist with content scheduling and publishing
Monitor social media trends and suggest opportunities for growth
Support efforts to grow our LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok presence
General Administrative Support
Assist with ad hoc tasks related to marketing and content creation
Help organize digital assets and project files
Support the team with operational and administrative tasks when required
Requirements
Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, CapCut, or similar tools
Basic to intermediate video editing skills
Strong understanding of social media platforms and current content trends
Excellent attention to detail in both design and execution
Able to spot inconsistencies, typos, formatting issues, and visual misalignment before content goes live
Organized, reliable, and able to meet deadlines
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
Creative mindset with the ability to contribute ideas, not just execute them

Compensation
PHP 10,000 per month
Part-time / freelance arrangement
Flexible working hours, provided deadlines and deliverables are met
