JOB OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented Part-Time Social Media Coordinator to assist in content creation. This role is perfect for someone with a strong design eye, trend awareness, and the ability to create engaging, on-brand content. You’ll focus on designing carousels, reels, and other social media assets while I handle scheduling, client communication, and capturing original content.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design on-brand Instagram carousels, reels, and other social media graphics that align with client aesthetics.
• Edit short-form videos using client-provided footage, keeping up with trending audios and styles.
• Format and refine captions and text overlays to match brand voice.
• Repurpose existing content into new, engaging formats.
• Stay updated on social media trends to bring fresh ideas.
• Collaborate with me to ensure all content aligns with strategy and brand guidelines.

What You Bring:
• Strong experience in Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express, or similar tools for content creation.
• Basic video editing skills for reels (trimming, adding text, aligning to audio).
• Eye for aesthetic, typography, and brand consistency.
• Understanding of current social media trends, Instagram algorithms, and engagement tactics.
• Self-motivated, communicative, and able to meet deadlines.

Bonus Skills (Not Required, But a Plus!):
• Experience working with small businesses or personal brands.
• Basic knowledge of Instagram insights and engagement tactics.
• Familiarity with a coastal or modern brand aesthetic.
