Social Media Coordinator

We are a multinational skin and hair care business based in Sydney, Australia. We are seeking someone who is genuinely passionate about social media, who has a love for the world of cosmetics and skincare, and can assist us in elevating our social media presence!

Duties/Responsibilities:
• Prepare Social Media strategies for company brands on all key platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Amazon (US).
• Prepare, create and edit copy and content (video and images) based on strategy pillars for each platform with owned assets, sourced stock images, and UGC using Canva and Capcut.
• Set up and maintain a detailed Google sheet for content approvals.
• Schedule and publish approved content to each platform using appropriate tools.
• Community management: Like, comment, share, and save posts. Engage with the online community by responding to comments, messages, and reviews on behalf of the brand.
• Monitor and report monthly on analytics to track performance and identify trends/watch-outs so we can adapt quickly to platform updates as they arise.
• Conduct hashtag research and implement it into social media campaigns.
• Identify potential influencers, collaborators or like-minded accounts.

Required Skills/Abilities:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities.
• Proficiency in tools like Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive), Canva, Capcut and social media scheduling platforms.
• Knowledge of Meta trends with a focus on Australian influencers/creators and filming & editing social media style content.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Tech-savvy with an aptitude for learning new tools and software.

Candidate information:
• Full-time 40 hours per week, remote. A stable internet connection is a must
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in a similar position
• Able to work AEST office hours.
• We use Outlook and TEAMs for online communication.
