Job Description: Part-Time Short-Form Video Editor

Looking for a part-time short-form video editor for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.

I will provide raw video footage through Google Drive. Your job is to turn the footage into engaging short videos for local businesses, beauty supply stores, barbershops, restaurants, and retail promotions.

Responsibilities:

• Edit vertical short-form videos, usually 15-60 seconds
• Add captions/subtitles
• Add trending-style music, sound effects, and transitions
• Create a strong hook in the first 1-3 seconds
• Cut dead space and make the video fast-paced
• Follow reference videos and brand direction
• Deliver finished videos through Google Drive
• Make revisions when needed

Requirements:

• Experience editing Reels, TikToks, or YouTube Shorts
• Strong sense of pacing, hooks, captions, and social media trends
• Must know CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar
• Reliable communication
• Fast turnaround
• Able to handle multiple videos per week

This is a long-term opportunity if the test edit is good.

Payment:
This is a per-video project-based position. Payment will be discussed after reviewing your portfolio and completing a test edit.
