Short Form Video Editor

We are searching for a talented short form video editor, read the following to learn more:

The position will initially be part-time, however we are looking to transition it into full time within the next 90 days or sooner.

Role Objective & Details:

- You will be creating short form videos for our clients. These videos will be advertisements for local service businesses. If you have any experience in the local service industry, that is a benefit.

- All content will be provided to you. No stock footage will be required.

- Your goal will be to model our examples from our current video team, and create compelling videos that get engagement.

- Typically these videos are between 45-90 seconds long.

- You should have a good understanding of how to create a "hook" that captures attention quickly within the first 5-10 seconds.

- You should have a good understanding of how to create engaging custom captions.

- Our team uses Adobe premiere, ideally this is the tool you use too. This way we can share editing formats, caption styles, transitions, etc much easier.

- You should have strong attention to detail. Before publishing a video you confirm there are no typos, and the quality is to the desired standard.

- You should be organized and structured within project management.

- You will be communicating with our team daily in regards to short form video projects.
