Short Form Video Editor

Looking for a scrappy editor to join our Short-Form video team.

Our goal is to hit 500,000 followers on Instagram by the end of the year.

And 2M followers next year.

So, we need someone who is very hungry.

I run Marketing Examined. We’re a media company and we’re investing heavily in video going into the future.

Our current content (newsletter and short-form) gets hundreds of thousands of views every month. But our goal is to reach millions of people every month.

So there is still a lot of growth to be had.

What we’re looking for:

* Someone who can tell visual stories creatively
* Can turn a script into a visual story
* Understand how to amplify a story with motion graphics
* Knows how to crawl the web for b-roll that supports a story
* Understands US pop culture and knows how to intertwine it into our content

1. Has edited business content and explainer videos
2. Knows how to create branded styles that form an identity
3. Is very skilled with motion graphics - below are examples

Requirements:
1. Works in premiere pro and after effects

3. Doesn’t mind going through multiple revisions to make the best video
4. Great storyteller
