Shopify Web Developer Wanted – Theme Customisation + PIM Integration (Long-Term Potential)

We’re a growing business in the lighting and interiors space, and we’re launching two new Shopify stores. We’ve chosen themes and need a skilled Shopify developer to bring them to life.


What You'll Do:
-----------------------
- Set up and configure 2 Shopify sites using pre-selected themes
- Customise themes to match our business needs (minimal design work – mostly data structuring)
- Create and manage metafields and metaobjects for integration with our Product Information Management (PIM) system
- Ensure smooth data sync between PIM and Shopify
- Develop using Shopify CLI in a local environment with VS Code or Cursor


Must-Have Skills:

- Shopify development with Liquid and Shopify CLI
- Experience with metafields and metaobjects
- Familiarity with VS Code or Cursor (or both!)
- Strong understanding of how to structure and manage custom product data


Bonus Skills (Please Mention if You Have Any):

- Experience with Cursor or other AI-assisted coding tools
- API development & integrations
- SQL / PostgreSQL experience
- WordPress & Woocommerce customisation
- Algolia setup and configuration
- Web scraping for data gathering
