Shopify Store Manager & Developer

We are launching a new health and wellness brand and are looking for an experienced Shopify expert who can help build and manage our store from the ground up.

This is not a basic VA role. We are looking for someone who can take ownership, solve problems independently, and help us grow an e-commerce brand.

Responsibilities

Build and launch a new Shopify store from scratch

Create and manage Shopify collections, products, pages, and navigation menus

Install, configure, and manage Shopify apps

Set up subscription services using Recharge or similar subscription platforms

Configure and manage Klaviyo email marketing

Set up Bloggle and manage weekly blog posting

Create landing pages and sales pages

Upload and manage products, descriptions, images, and variants

Perform basic Shopify theme customization and development

Handle Shopify backend administration

Open and manage support tickets with Shopify and app providers when needed

Perform SEO optimization for products, collections, blogs, and pages

Implement tracking, analytics, and conversion tools

Maintain website speed and performance

Identify problems and recommend solutions

Work closely with ownership to help grow the brand

Requirements

2+ years Shopify experience

Experience building Shopify stores from scratch

Experience with Shopify themes and page builders

Experience with Klaviyo

Experience with Recharge subscriptions

Experience with Bloggle or similar blogging platforms

Understanding of SEO best practices

Basic HTML, CSS, and Shopify Liquid experience

Strong English communication skills

Ability to work independently and solve problems

Reliable internet connection

Detail-oriented and highly organized

Bonus Skills

Experience with health, supplement, wellness, or nutrition brands

Experience with subscription-based businesses

Experience with conversion rate optimization (CRO)

Experience running Shopify promotions and discounts

Experience with Google Analytics and Google Search Console

Experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT

Experience managing Shopify Plus stores
