Shopify Fulfillment & Order Batching VA (Operations Focused)

We are a U.S.-based 3PL fulfillment warehouse handling multiple Shopify brands.

We are hiring a highly detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to manage daily order batching, shipping setup, label organization, and operational reporting.

This role directly supports warehouse efficiency and shipping accuracy. Mistakes in this role affect real shipments and real costs, so attention to detail is critical.

This is NOT a customer service or marketing role.
This is an operations control position.

Daily Responsibilities

Log into Shopify and filter UNFULFILLED orders.

Filter orders by yesterday’s date (orders ship the following business day).

Batch same-SKU orders together for efficient warehouse processing.

Input correct shipping details according to our SOP:

Weight

Box size

Shipping service type

Generate shipping labels.

Extract and batch Order IDs after label creation.

Upload structured order data into our master Google Sheet:

Order ID

SKU type

Quantity

Misc cost

Prep type (box or envelope)

Upload and organize daily shipping labels into structured folders by:

Client

Date

SKU batch

Labels must be uploaded and organized EVERY day.

Daily Reporting Requirement

Before logging off each day, you must submit a structured fulfillment report including:

Total unfulfilled orders at start of day

Total orders processed

Total labels generated

SKU breakdown

Confirmation spreadsheet was updated

Any discrepancies or issues

Time log (start/end time)

This is mandatory.

Requirements

Strong Shopify experience (REQUIRED)

Experience batching orders by SKU

Extremely detail-oriented

Comfortable working with shipping data

Google Sheets proficiency

Ability to follow structured SOP exactly

Available during U.S. CST business hours

Stable internet connection
