We are seeking an experienced Shopify Store Manager to oversee daily operations for our online store specializing in durable medical equipment such as mobility scooters, wheelchairs, and other assistive products. We are a drop-ship store serving customers in the United States through parterships with reputabe US brands, with a strong focus on providing exceptional customer service to an older demographic.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll both manage a small team and work directly in the business, handling customer service calls, managing product listings, coordinating supplier outreach, and processing purchase orders.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service Excellence – Handle inbound calls and
Team Management – Lead and coordinate a remote team responsible for product listings, content, and order processing.
Product Listing Oversight – Work with the listing team to ensure all products are well-presented, SEO-optimized, and accurate.
Supplier Relations – Communicate with suppliers to place purchase orders, confirm stock availability, and resolve issues promptly.
Operational Management – Oversee order processing, returns, and escalations.
Value-Adding Initiatives – Bring fresh ideas to improve processes, enhance customer experience, and increase store performance.
Quality Control – Monitor site content, product data, and customer feedback to maintain brand standards.
Requirements:
Proven experience managing a Shopify store (preferably in the DME or mobility equipment niche).
Strong English proficiency – both spoken and written – with excellent phone etiquette.
Experience working with elderly customers and understanding their needs.
Ability to multi-task between management duties and hands-on operational tasks.
Familiarity with drop-shipping workflows and supplier coordination.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Availability during US business hours.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
Experience with SEO and Shopify product optimization.
Background in healthcare or mobility products.
Familiarity with CRM tools and call management systems.
