Senior WordPress Developer — Oxygen Builder Expert

Authority Solutions® is a US-based digital marketing agency founded in 2014. We build and manage high-performance websites for clients primarily in the Medical and Legal industries, with a growing portfolio across other verticals. Our team has included Philippines-based professionals since day one — this isn't an experiment for us, it's how we operate.

We are hiring an experienced WordPress developer who can step into our existing client portfolio of 10-20 active websites and contribute immediately with minimal ramp-up. This is not an entry-level position. We need someone who has built and maintained production client sites — not personal projects or course assignments.

What You'll Do Day-to-Day
- Build and maintain client websites in WordPress using Oxygen Builder (this is our primary builder — you must have real production experience with it, not just tutorials)
- Implement designs provided by our team — you are building from specs, not designing from scratch
- Write and debug custom CSS, HTML, PHP, and JavaScript to extend functionality beyond what builders offer out of the box
- Optimize websites for speed and Core Web Vitals using WP Rocket, image optimization, and caching best practices
- Manage hosting environments through cPanel — spinning up staging/dev sites, WordPress installations, PHP version management, file cleanup
- Configure and manage Cloudflare — DNS records, page rules, redirects, SSL, and security settings
- Troubleshoot issues independently — broken layouts, plugin conflicts, server resource problems, slow load times — and resolve them without hand-holding
- Work across multiple client sites simultaneously, managing your own task queue and meeting deadlines
- Maintain a small number of client sites built in Elementor (secondary to Oxygen, but you should be comfortable in both)

What We Require
- Minimum 5 years professional WordPress development experience with client-facing production sites
- Proven, hands-on Oxygen Builder experience — you have built real client websites in Oxygen, not just watched videos about it
- Strong command of CSS, HTML, PHP, and JavaScript
- Experience managing cPanel hosting environments (not just shared hosting dashboards — actual server-level work)
- Working knowledge of Cloudflare configuration (DNS, caching, redirects, page rules)
- Understanding of on-page SEO fundamentals as they relate to development (heading structure, schema markup, page speed, mobile responsiveness)
- Ability to manage 10-20 active sites with different requirements, timelines, and stakeholders
- Reliable internet connection and a professional remote work setup
- Strong written English communication — you will interact with US-based leadership and occasionally with clients

What Sets You Apart
- Experience with WP Rocket configuration and advanced caching strategies
- Familiarity with PHP debugging and custom plugin/theme modification (not just installing plugins)
- Experience working in an agency environment managing multiple client accounts
- Comfortable diagnosing server utilization issues and optimizing without being told what to look for

Compensation & Schedule

Full-time, 40 hours per week
- $1,200 – $1,800 USD/month depending on experience and skill level
- We observe both US and Philippine public holidays (New Year's Day, Lunar New Year, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Bataan Day, Labour Day, Philippines Independence Day, National Heroes Day, Bonifacio Day, Feast of the Immaculate Conception, Christmas Day, Rizal Day, plus all major US holidays)
- After a 90-day probationary period, tea ---------- mbers qualify for leave per our employee handbook
- Schedule is 40 hours/week with some overlap expected with US business hours for team communication

- Include links to 2-3 live websites you personally built or developed in Oxygen Builder. If you cannot provide Oxygen-specific examples, this is not the right role.
- Briefly describe a time you diagnosed and resolved a technical issue on a client's live site under time pressure — what was the problem, what did you do, and how long did it take.
