Work Arrangement: Work From Home
Work Location: WFH Philippines
Working Days: Mondays to Fridays if Mid or Night Shift; Tuesdays to Saturdays if Morning Shift
Available Shift Options (You may choose): PH Morning shift 6 AM, PH Mid shift 5PM or PH Night shift 10 PM


About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to become an integral part of our team! You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining new and existing applications and services. You will also use your deep understanding of the full-stack to guide the upper management team with software design and architecture decision making.

In addition, you will work closely with members of our engineering team in an agile framework and will utilize CI/CD best practices. Your daily work will be spent in our web-stack (TypeScript, Node.js, Vue.js, SQL) and our service stacks (Node.js, Go, SQL, NoSQL); therefore, significant knowledge of these technologies is required. Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes and Linux is a plus.



What You Will Be Doing
- Collaborate with the engineering team to design, build, and maintain APIs, UIs, services, and systems
- Work with the management team and product support to analyze customer needs and develop software solutions
- Recommend software upgrades to optimize operational efficiency
- Document all programming tasks and procedures
- Perform routine software maintenance

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field and 7+ years of technical experience
- 5+ years of Node.js, Vue.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Go
- 5+ years of relational databases such as MySQL and MariaDB
- 2+ years of NoSQL databases such as MongoDb, Redis, and Elasticsearch
- Knowledge of Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with bash scripting
- Familiarity with DevOps
- Familiarity with Bootstrap and Tailwind CSS
- Experience with software development lifecycles
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Strong communication skills
- Familiarity with UI/UX design

Soft Skills:
- Strong communication skills, particularly in English.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a remote team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to fast-paced environments.
