Senior Short-Form Video Editor

Veritas is hiring a full-time Senior Short-Form Video Editor to create high-quality videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and paid ads.

We sell premium accessories for Starlink Mini and Starlink Standard. Our content focuses on outdoor travel, vanlife, RVs, boating, remote work, and staying connected anywhere.

We need an editor who understands short-form content, not just basic video editing. You should know how to create strong hooks, fast pacing, clean captions, good sound design, and videos that keep people watching.

Responsibilities

- Edit 15–60 second short-form videos
- Create videos for TikTok, Reels, Shorts, Facebook, and Meta ads
- Turn raw footage, product clips, UGC, and founder videos into polished content
- Add captions, cuts, zooms, b-roll, overlays, music, and sound effects
- Create multiple versions of videos for testing
- Follow brand direction and feedback
- Deliver clean, organized project files
- Meet deadlines and communicate clearly

Requirements
- 3+ years of video editing experience
- Strong portfolio of short-form videos
- Experience editing TikTok, Reels, Shorts, or paid social ads
- Strong sense of hooks, pacing, captions, and retention
- Good written and spoken English
- Reliable internet
- Able to work full-time
- Comfortable with feedback and revisions
- Experience with Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar tools

Ecommerce or product video editing
Meta ad creatives
Outdoor, vanlife, RV, boating, tech, or gear brands
Motion graphics
After Effects, Photoshop, Figma, or AI editing tools

This role is for a short-form specialist. Please do not apply if most of your experience is only long-form YouTube editing, basic trimming, or simple slideshow videos.
