Senior Shopify Developer (with React/Next.js skills)

About us
We run bootstrapped DTC consumer brands on Shopify, with a custom Next.js
web app for personalization. Solo founder, small distributed team, mostly
Philippines-based, no investors, no drama. We pay on time and value people
who stick around. Several tea ---------- mbers have been with us for 5+ years.

What you'll do
- Build and maintain Shopify themes and custom features
- Work on our Next.js web app (Firebase) when needed
- Identify optimization opportunities proactively (speed, SEO, UX, code quality)
- Collaborate with our existing dev and design team

Must have
- 4+ years professional Shopify development (Liquid, Sections, themes, apps)
- Strong React, Next.js, and TypeScript
- Comfortable with Git/GitHub workflows (PRs, reviews, clean commits)
- AI-fluent (Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot, or similar) but you own and
understand every line you ship
- Tailwind CSS
- Excellent written English and responsiveness on Slack
- Reliable internet and power backup
- At least 4 hours daily overlap with 9am-5pm PST (Philippines: 12am-8am)

- Firebase / Google Cloud
- Framer Motion
- Shopify API and GraphQL
- A/B testing tools (Intelligems or similar)
- PDF-lib / React-PDF
- Three.js / Blender

- Hourly contract, paid bi-weekly via Veem
- Long-term relationship is the goal, not project work
- We value people who flag issues early, propose initiatives, and communicate
openly. We don't expect availability 24/7, but we do expect honesty and
professionalism.
