About the Role
We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to play a key role in designing, building, and enhancing ServiceNow applications across our organization. This is a senior, hands-on development position focused on creating scalable solutions that improve business processes and productivity.
You will work closely with IT service management, operations, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality ServiceNow solutions, including custom applications and system integrations. This role also includes mentoring junior developers and helping establish strong development standards.
What You’ll Be Doing
Application Development and Automation
Design, develop, and maintain custom ServiceNow applications and workflows
Build automation to improve IT and business operations
Lead full development lifecycle from planning through deployment and support
Platform Customization
Customize workflows, UI actions, UI policies, business rules, and client scripts
Develop and optimize forms, lists, and user experiences
Ensure solutions follow ServiceNow best practices and security standards
Integrations and Architecture
Integrate ServiceNow with corporate systems and third-party applications
Build and maintain REST and SOAP integrations
Support ITSM, ITOM, and ITBM modules where applicable
Collaboration and Leadership
Work with IT and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
Documentation and Continuous Improvement
Document technical designs, specifications, and maintenance procedures
Stay current with ServiceNow releases and new features
Recommend platform improvements aligned with business goals
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience
Strong experience building custom applications on the ServiceNow platform
Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and AngularJS
Experience working with REST and SOAP web services
Strong understanding of ITIL processes and ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, and ITBM suites
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Able to work with US time zone overlap
Preferred Qualifications
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications
Experience in enterprise or MSP environments
Experience with complex integrations and data migrations
Experience leading large-scale implementations or platform expansions
