Senior PHP Developer – Full Stack (Backend-Focused)

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior PHP Developer to join our digital team and take full ownership of backend development across multiple platforms. You will replace an existing developer, so you must be confident working independently, maintaining code, and delivering clean, reliable builds.

Your work will support a fast-growing online auction and e-commerce ecosystem. We need someone who can think ahead, build scalable systems, and integrate APIs with precision.

Your Responsibilities:
• Maintain, optimise, and extend existing PHP systems
• Build new features for our online auction house and e-commerce platforms
• Integrate third-party APIs (payment gateways, CRM, automation tools, SMS/WhatsApp APIs, Webhooks)
• Fix bugs, improve performance, and ensure platform stability
• Work with front-end devs, designers, and operations teams when needed
• Manage hosting, server environments, and deployments
• Build automated scripts & backend tools for internal teams
• Follow clean coding standards and reliable version control
• Provide daily progress updates

Tech Stack We Use:
• PHP (Laravel or vanilla PHP – both acceptable)
• MySQL
• JavaScript (basic familiarity is a bonus)
• HTML/CSS (not required but helpful)
• API integrations (Stripe, IPG, Tyl, AWS, Google services, etc.)
• cPanel, Linux servers, hosting management
• Git version control

Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years solid PHP experience
• Strong backend architecture skills
• Confident working alone with minimal supervision
• Very strong problem-solving mindset
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Reliable, fast communication
• Stable internet
• Must be able to handle complex logic and platform scaling
