Senior MSP Engineer

HOURS: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM US Eastern Time (9:00 PM – 6:00 AM Philippine Standard Time). This is a true night shift. Please only apply if this works for your schedule.

ABOUT US

We are a 22-person managed IT services company in the US. We support small and mid-size US businesses across infrastructure, security, cloud, and day-to-day IT. We have been operating for over a decade. Engineers who do good work stay and grow — we are not a churn shop.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Work an active ticket queue in ConnectWise — real infrastructure, networking, M365, and security issues, not L1 resets
- Own IT projects end-to-end: client onboardings, NinjaOne deployments, MikroTik firewall config, Azure Entra ID setup,
- Triage security alerts from SIEM and Huntress — suppress noise, work real i ---------- , escalate with a clear summary
- Communicate directly with US clients and teammates via Slack and calls
- Keep IT Glue documentation accurate after every change

- Azure / Entra ID — conditional access, device enrollment, user/group management

- CIPP (multi-tenant M365 management)

Security
- Huntress and SentinelOne (EDR)
- Avanan / Microsoft Defender (email security)
- Vulnerability Scanning and automation

Networking
- Firewalls/routers, VLANs, DHCP, NAT, routing
- WireGuard and IPsec VPN

Infrastructure
- Windows Server (2012 R2 – 2022) — AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy
- IT Glue (documentation)
- Windows Desktop Administration and Troubleshooting

HOW WE WORK

- You will have full IT Glue documentation before you touch any client system
- You are on Slack with the US team throughout your shift
- We expect you to close tickets, not park them
- Rate increases over time for engineers who take ownership

REQUIREMENTS

Must-have:
- 3+ years at a managed service provider (MSP experience specifically)
- Strong hands-on experience with ConnectWise and NinjaOne
- Solid Microsoft 365 admin skills
- Windows Server and Active Directory
- Networking fundamentals — VLANs, firewall rules, VPN troubleshooting
- Strong written and verbal English — you will work directly with US clients
- Available for night shift, Monday through Friday

Nice to have:
- MikroTik experience
- SIEM experience
- Certifications: CompTIA Network+, Security+, MS-102, AZ-104, CCNA


HOME SETUP REQUIREMENTS

- Internet: minimum 25 Mbps down / 10 Mbps up, stable (fiber preferred)
- Mobile hotspot as a backup connection
- UPS or backup power strongly recommended
- Quiet workspace with a headset
- Equipment: we provide a company desktop or laptop and multiple monitors
