PowerHouse Hub is an Australian company with staff located remotely and clients around the world. We are looking for a Remote Senior Front-End Developer in the Philippines to join our dynamic and innovative team! This fully remote role offers flexibility and the opportunity to work with a global team on cutting-edge web applications. What You’ll Do:
• Maintain and build elements and user interfaces for our product suite
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and product teams to build industry-leading solutions.
• Completing assigned tasks relating to core and custom projects
• Attending meetings with stakeholders (internal and external)
• Stay ahead of the curve by researching and implementing the latest web technologies.

What We’re Looking For:

Technical skills and experience:
• 7+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, SASS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Develop and maintain high-quality, reusable front-end code.
• Modernising and improving existing code to ensure future proofing
• Expertise in responsive design, performance optimization, and accessibility
• Understanding and building code that supports and is compliant with WCAG standards 2.1 and 2.2.
• Familiarity with PHP, Twig templates and MySQL for basic back-end interactions.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and the ability to write clean code that is readable

Desirable skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Hands-on experience with TypeScript.
• Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks.
• A strong GitHub portfolio showcasing your best work.
• Knowledge of Web Components and Progressive Web Apps (PWAs).

Personal skills and attributes to be successful in this contract role:
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote and agile development environment.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Attend video meetings and calls via TEAMS, Slack and other tools
• Able to communicate and work with the AU team on AEST timezone
• Proactive communication to raise issue

As a contract resource you must have:
• Access to a fast and reliable internet connection with back up option if required
• Own computer (we may assist with this if required)
