Position Overview:
The Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing day-to-day bookkeeping for 30-50 US-based clients. This role requires knowledge of US GAAP, experience in creating financial statements, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients regarding their financial data.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage Bookkeeping Operations: Perform bookkeeping tasks using Xero and/or QuickBooks, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded, ensuring timely month-end and year-end closing.
Financial Statement Preparation: Create and manage financial statements according to US GAAP.
Client Communication: Communicate directly with clients, answering their queries and explaining financial reports in clear and understandable terms.
Data Organization: Ensure all financial data is organized and easily accessible, maintaining up-to-date and accurate client records.
Qualifications:
3-4 years of bookkeeping experience with 1-2 years experience of handling booking for US companies (general knowledge of US GAAP).
Proficiency in Xero and QuickBooks.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
Ability to work 3-4 hours overlap with EST.
