About Us
Dymond Speech & Rehab is a growing pediatric therapy practice providing speech, occupational, and physical therapy services to children and families. We are looking for a highly experienced Billing & Authorization Operations Lead to help manage, improve, and scale our billing and authorization department.
This is a senior leadership role for someone who has managed people for at least 5 years and has owned operational workflows, team performance, and measurable outcomes.
We are not looking for someone who has only completed billing or authorization tasks. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of daily execution, improve processes, manage accountability, and help build a stronger department.
Responsibilities:
-Manage daily billing and authorization operations
-Lead, train, and hold tea
-Monitor productivity, quality, turnaround times, and follow-up
-Help resolve denials, claim issues, authorization delays, and payer problems
-Create and improve SOPs, checklists, trackers, and workflows
-Track KPIs and provide updates to leadership
-Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements
-Help build a more organized, accountable, and scalable department
-Required Experience
Please apply only if you have:
-5+ years of experience managing, supervising, or leading people
-Experience managing a team of at least 3-5 people
-Experience owning a workflow, department, function, or major operational process
-Experience being responsible for outcomes, not just assigned tasks
-3+ years of experience in U.S. healthcare billing, revenue cycle, authorizations, or healthcare operations
-Experience using KPIs, dashboards, scorecards, or reports to manage performance
-Experience training tea
-Strong written and spoken English
-Strong spreadsheet, organization, and follow-up skills
-Ability to work full-time during U.S. business hours
Strong Preferred Experience
-Prior role as a Billing Lead, Authorization Lead, Revenue Cycle Lead, Medical Billing Supervisor, Healthcare Operations Supervisor, BPO Supervisor, or similar
-Experience reducing denials, improving authorization turnaround times, reducing backlogs, or improving team productivity
-Experience creating SOPs, QA checklists, training materials, trackers, or dashboards
-Experience managing remote or offshore tea
This Role Is Not a Fit If
-You have not managed people for at least 5 years
-You have only completed billing/auth tasks but have not owned team performance
-You are looking for a task-only billing position
-You are not comfortable managing KPIs, deadlines, productivity, and accountability
-You need frequent reminders or close supervision
The Details
Compensation: $900–$1,400/month USD, based on experience
Schedule: Full-time
Contract role (independent contractor)
Growth opportunity: as DSR scales, this role grows with it — we're building a department, not filling a seat
