Engagement Overview
Simour Design is seeking an experienced Architectural Contractor to support the development of technical drawings and code-compliant documentation for high-end medical and commercial design projects across the United States.
This is a remote independent contractor engagement. The contractor will provide architectural services on a project or ongoing engagement basis and retain discretion over the manner and timing of completing the services, while coordinating with the Simour team during an overlapping collaboration window.
For project coordination, we collaborate during a 3–6 PM PT window.

Simour Design specializes in designing high-end medical interiors throughout the United States. Our work focuses on creating environments that are functional, brand-aligned, and compliant with U.S. codes and healthcare standards.
Scope of Services
The selected contractor will support architectural documentation and coordination for medical design projects. Services may include:
• Developing architectural and construction drawing packages
• Preparing code-compliant layouts aligned with ADA and U.S. building regulations
• Supporting design teams with technical documentation during project development
• Reviewing drawing sets prior to submission to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Coordinating with design consultants, architects, and project partners when required
• Assisting with material take-offs or technical evaluations as needed
• Supporting documentation required for permit submissions where applicable
Deliverables and timelines will be defined per project engagement.
Desired Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture.
• 5+ years of commercial or healthcare design experience
• Experience working on projects that require U.S. building code compliance (ADA familiarity preferred)
• Strong portfolio of commercial or healthcare projects
• Proficiency with industry-standard design tools: Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and similar platforms
• Ability to collaborate with distributed teams and consultants
