The role
You'll use your skills to assist our range of clients with their bookkeeping and accounting functions including invoicing, data entry, reconciliations, accounts payable, cashflow, and end of year balancing and most importantly - payroll.


You are a senior qualified accountant (3-5 years experience) who has experience as a tead leadto ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner.You have advanced knowledge using Xero (including payroll) and intermediate knowledge with excel/google suite.


Our clients use our internal email system as their way of communicating. You will be responsible for reading emails, responding to clients where appropriate and co-ordinating work required by our team of bookkeepers to manage daily requests from clients.


Your primary role:
Be the right hand person for our Finance Director. As we are growing rapidly, your role will be to take over a lot of the day to day work so our Finance Director can focus on consulting.

This is what you'll be working on:
Bank reconciliations
Day-to-day creditor and debtor data entry
Cashflow for clients
Regular reconciliations of ?Balance Sheet accounts
Entering and processing a variety of payrolls
EOFY Payroll Finalisation & STP
Assisting in the Month End process
BAS/IAS preparation
Review and tidy of client data files in preparation for annual tax compliance and/or annual audits
Coordinating work schedules for bookkeepers and ensuring tasks are completed in a timely manner
Coordinate daily emails received from clients to bookkeepers and providing customer services (relating to the clients own finances)
General accounts administration support
Maintain process notes and suggest ways that current processes may be automated or more efficient
Opportunities to roll out new systems or improvements for clients
Provide training to more Junior bookkeepers

About you
You're a positive and flexible individual. You've got a way with numbers and you have a willingness to learn and grow into the role. Must have excellent speaking and written English.

You have been successful in managing staff.


To be successful in this role you'll have:
At least 3+ years' experience in a bookkeeping/accounting role
Experience in Payroll, including awards based payroll and EBA'S
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
Ability to work well under pressure and to meet deadlines
Strong communication and time management skills
A reliable work ethic that ensures prompt communication with clients and teaUpgrade to see actual infombers
Advanced knowledge with Xero
Intermediate knowledge with google sheets and excel
Experience using slack and clickup is advantageous
Be adaptable to working with clients
Enjoy challenges and learning new skills
